Fall sports post-season action is here! Congratulations to our XC team on a successful season and wrapping up their year at the state meet in Billings this past weekend. The Lady Husky volleyball team will travel to Gildford for the District 9C tournament Thursday-Saturday. The Husky football team will host Seeley-Swan/Lincoln for a first round game on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Good luck to all of our Huskies! There will be a free developmental screening for children from birth to 5 years, 11 months of age at Belt School on November 16, 2026 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm. The screenings, performed by Northcentral Learning Resource Center staff, help determine if your child is meeting developmental milestones. Screenings are by appointment only, please call 406-727-6303 to schedule.

Tilleraas Nursery in Great Falls and L & M Lockers in Belt have generously donated a pumpkin for every student at Belt Public School!
Beginning Monday, a trailer with pumpkins will be parked at L & M Lockers for families to pick up pumpkins, one for each of their children that attend Belt School.

The Belt Lady Huskies will host Big Sandy for JV and varsity volleyball matches on 10/22/2026 starting at 3:30pm. Our female senior athletes will be honored between the JV and varsity games. The Belt Huskies football team will host the Centerville Miners on 10/22/2026 at 7:00pm. Our male senior athletes will be honored during warm-ups. Our cross country team will head to Billings for their State Meet on Saturday, 10/24/2026. Good luck to all and GO HUSKIES!

Support the Belt Public Schools Education Foundation by purchasing a raffle ticket for a chance to win 2 game tickets and one night hotel lodging for the November 21st Brawl of the Wild game in Bozeman. Tickets are $50 each, a max of 200 will be sold. All proceeds will to towards funding Foundation scholarships and other community enrichment projects. Tickets are available at local businesses in Belt or you can reach out to Foundation board members Kallie Tinsen or Janet Thayer. The drawing will be held on November 7th or when tickets sell out.

A reminder that Belt Schools will be hosting Parent/Teacher Conferences tonight and tomorrow night (Oct. 12 & 13) from 4:00-7:00pm. The Belt Federation of Teachers is running their annual Basket Fundraiser. Money raised will be used to provide scholarships to Belt students entering the field of education. Baskets are on display in the school office. Tickets can be purchased for $1 each, 6 for $5, or 25 for $20. The drawing will take place on October 13th at 7:00pm.
