Applications for a vacant Belt School Board of Trustees seat (1-year term) previously held by Kyle Gillespie, are available at the school office. If you are interested in applying please pick up an application. Completed applications are due to the Belt School office by Friday, May 22, at noon. Applicants must provide a complete application with voter registration information & a letter of interest. Selected applicants will be interviewed during a regular or special board of trustees’ meeting. The Belt Board of Trustees chooses the individual to fill the vacant seat. The appointee will serve until the regular school election, and the successor has qualified (May 2027). Public Disclosure Notice: A school trustee is a public office. We will be hosting our annual Donuts 4 Dads in the Multi-Purpose room from 7:30-8:00am on Friday, May 15. Dads, or another special person in our elementary students' lives, are welcome to join. Elementary & MS Boys Basketball Camp is May 11th-May 13th for boys entering grades 1st-8th. The camp will run right after school until 5:00 pm.
The 2026 State FFA Convention was held last month in Great Falls, and the Belt Valley FFA Chapter delivered another strong showing, highlighted by a Superior Chapter Award.

Big shoutout to our Middle School Shop students for their success in the 2026 Montana Chamber of Commerce Prospects Competition! They are coming home collectively with $500.00 in cash awards.

The school election ballots have been mailed out and registered voters should be receiving them. The ballot has seven candidates running for two open seats, each for a three-year term. Help Belt Elementary compete in the "iCan Recycling Challenge" this April!
We are collecting crushed aluminum cans all month long. To participate, please bring your tied-off bags of cans to the horse trailer located in the open area on the south side of the Elementary parking lot.
Important Guidelines: Accepted: Crushed aluminum cans only. Not Accepted: Tin cans, glass, or any other recyclable materials.
Let’s see how many cans we can collect—thank you for your support!
Reminder: Students will be released at 12:31 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. Staff will be participating in professional development that afternoon. Please plan accordingly.
