A big thank you to our Senior Class for taking time to spruce up the “B.” Their hard work and school pride are on full display with a fresh coat of paint. Most of the paint ended up on the “B,” though a little found its way onto the seniors themselves. Great job, Class of 2026, for carrying on this tradition.

Join us in celebrating our students and alumni throughout the week, and don’t miss the parade and football game on Friday. PreK–5th grade students, accompanied by an adult, can take part in a night of reading, running, and colorful fun. The Belt School will hold a surplus property sale on September 18 from 9:00am-1:00pm near the school maintenance shop. The surplus item list is attached and is also posted around the community of Belt.

Thursday, September 4, the Huskies will host the Fort Benton Longhorns for MS football (4:30pm) and varsity football (7:00pm). The Lady Huskies volleyball team will travel to Chester on Thursday to take on CJI with the first game starting at 2:00pm. MS B, MS A, C, JV and Varsity will all have games. Good luck Huskies!

The Belt Lady Husky volleyball team will be hosting an invitational tournament on Saturday, Aug. 30, starting at 8:30am. The varsity games will be in the main gym and junior varsity will play in the multi. We are looking forward to great volleyball all day with 13 varsity teams and 11 junior varsity teams competing. Our student handbooks will once again be available online through the school website. One of the most common questions we get is about our cell phone policy, and the answer is simple. There are no changes this year. The same rules apply for all electronic communication devices including cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, and more. The first day of school is Tuesday (8/19) and the main entrance and gym doors will open at 7:30 am. If you plan to drop off your children in the morning please help us with traffic flow by accessing the school via Church Street. If you need to drop something off at the office or with a teacher, please park your vehicle in visitor parking or the south parking lot and enter the school at the main or gym entrance.

The new school year is just around the corner! Join us for Open House on Monday, August 18th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Middle and High School students can pick up their class schedules, sign up for music rentals, and drop off school supplies. This is also a great opportunity for families to meet their child’s teachers, ask questions, and reconnect with the school before the year officially begins.
Friday, August 15 at the Montana Expo Park there will be a free, Back 2 School Blast, including school supplies, haircuts, hygiene products, food, physicals, immunizations, and fun activities. The Belt Booster Club is looking for additional help with the paid position of a Concessions Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested and able to help out please reach out to the school office. Concessions sales is one of the major fundraisers for the Booster Club and greatly helps provide additional support to our student body. The duties will be divided between individuals to help offset the burden.

Both gyms will be having the floors refinished June 26th-July 6th. The Wellness Center and both gyms will be closed during this time. They can be used up until the evening of June 25th and will be open again for use on the morning of July 7th. Thank you.
