Due to current fire restrictions in Cascade County, the High School Bonfire traditionally held following the football game has been canceled. In its place, Belt Valley Public Schools is excited to announce a High School Street Dance in the back teacher parking lot immediately following the game. This event is open to Belt Valley High School students and will provide a safe, fun way to celebrate together as a community while respecting fire safety regulations. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing our students at the dance!

A big thank you to our Senior Class for taking time to spruce up the “B.” Their hard work and school pride are on full display with a fresh coat of paint. Most of the paint ended up on the “B,” though a little found its way onto the seniors themselves. Great job, Class of 2026, for carrying on this tradition.

Tomorrow, September 10, 2025, is an early-release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:31 p.m. We are aware of the ongoing water project in Belt, which will cause service disruptions tomorrow for residents on the west side of Belt Creek. After speaking with project managers, we’ve been assured that the school will have water throughout the shortened day and it is safe to remain open.

Our student handbooks will once again be available online through the school website. One of the most common questions we get is about our cell phone policy, and the answer is simple. There are no changes this year. The same rules apply for all electronic communication devices including cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, and more. Full details can be found in the district policy within the student handbooks.

The first day of school is Tuesday (8/19) and the main entrance and gym doors will open at 7:30 am. If you plan to drop off your children in the morning please help us with traffic flow by accessing the school via Church Street. If you need to drop something off at the office or with a teacher, please park your vehicle in visitor parking or the south parking lot and enter the school at the main or gym entrance.
Please consider using an alternate route to avoid waterline work delays that will impact HWY 331 and South Castner Street during the months of August & September 2025.
