Calling all Huskies!!! Come out and support our boys' basketball team in a Northern C Divisional challenge game vs Winnett-Grass Range with a trip to the State C Tournament on the line. Wear your maroon Husky gear and bring all of your Husky spirit!! Game time is 4:00pm (Monday-2/26/24) at the Expo Center in Great Falls. Congratulations to Rowan Flaten (6th Grade) and JJ Hoffmann (8th Grade) for finishing First and Second at this year's 4th - 8th Grade Geography B.

Over the weekend the state DECA conference was held in Missoula, MT where 538 high school students came to compete in various events. There were multiple students from Belt to make it to the final rounds of competition in their respective events, but we had three stand out students receive some of the highest awards. Regan Jassen in Principles of Finance, becoming a state champion. As well as Emerson Hoerner and Parker Osterman earning a first place medal in their Financial Literacy Project. Mrs. Mavrinac would like to give Clayton Jassen a shout out for placing 7th out of 538 students in the core business test.

Congrats to Reagan Jassen, Kate Hedstrom, and Vannie Urick who came home with top places at last weekend's FFA Leadership Development Event.

There is a boys' C-squad game Monday night (Feb 5) at 6:00pm in Belt versus the Gt Falls Home School. There will be boys' and girls' JV games on Tuesday night (Feb 6) in Belt versus Cascade starting at 6:00pm.
Friday night the Huskies will host DGSG with game times at GJV 3:00/BJV 4:30/GV 6:00/BV 7:30. The 2024 Hall of Fame inductions will take place between the varsity games. Saturday the Huskies host TCT with game times at BJV 3:30/GV 5:00/BV 6:30. The Free Throw Calcutta fundraiser will take place following the games Saturday night.
The middle school students will head to Showdown on Wednesday, Jan 31, for a day of skiing. Please remember to dress in layers, wear sunscreen, and pack a lunch or bring $10 for lunch at the lodge.
As we move into the final weeks of the basketball season we have a busy week of games. Boys' and girls' C squads travel to Ft Benton Monday night, game time are G “C” 5:00/B “C” 6:30. Tuesday the boys travel to Highwood, game times BJV 4:30/BV 6:00. Thursday the girls travel to Simms, game times GJV 5:00/GV 6:30. Friday DGSG travels to Belt, game times GJV 3:00/BJV 4:30/GV 6:00/BV 7:30. Saturday Hobson-Moore travels to Belt, game times BJV 3:30/GV 5:00/BV 6:30. There will also be a FT Calcutta fundraiser following the home games on Saturday. We hope to see everyone out supporting our Huskies!

The Belt Husky Free Throw Calcutta will held on Saturday, February 3rd, following the home games versus the TCT Titans. Proceeds will go to the boys' and girls' basketball teams. The free throw teams will be auctioned off (silent auction) during the high school basketball games. Game times are BJV 3:30/GV 5:00/BV 6:30.

UPDATE: Friday the HS basketball teams travel to Grass Range with game times as follows: BJV 4:30/GV 6:00/BV 7:30. There is no JV girls game today.
The Husky basketball teams travel to Fairfield Thursday to take on the Eagles, game times are GJV 4:00/BJV 4:00/GV 5:30/BV 7:00. On Friday the teams travel to Grass Range with game times at 1/2GJV 3:30/BJV 4:30/GV6:00/BV 7:30. And Saturday the Huskies will host Roy-Winifred with game times 1/2GJV 2:30/BJV 3:30/GV 5:00/BV 6:30.
