"Box the Cats" or "Box the Griz"...it is nearly time to find out who will win the 2023 Brawl of the Wild (November 18). National Honor Society is sponsoring a cereal drive to support Cole's Pantry and the Belt Food Bank. Please participate by sending boxes of cereal to school between November 13-17 to cast a vote for your favorite team!

The Belt Husky Volleyball team will have a fire truck escort Wednesday evening to send them off to the State Tournament in Bozeman. The escort will take place at approximately 6:10pm going up Main St. Community members wishing to participate can line the street and send them off with good luck wishes! Good luck and GO Huskies!!

The Northern C Champion Belt Husky volleyball team will travel to Bozeman for the State C Tournament starting Thursday, November 9 with a first round matchup at 4:00pm versus North Country. Come out and support your Huskies or catch the action on the NFHS network. Good luck and go Huskies!

The Belt Husky football team will host the Ennis Mustangs on Saturday, November 11 at 1:00pm in an 8-Man semifinal matchup. Please come out and support your hometown Huskies! The winner will advance on to the 8-Man State Championship game next week.

Belt Public School will be hosting Parent/Teacher Conferences on Monday (11/6) and Tuesday (11-7) from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Parents are encouraged to attend the conferences and visit with teacher(s) on their child's progress through the 1st quarter. If you have any questions please call the school office at 406-277-3351.

Good luck to our Huskies this weekend. The volleyball team is competing at the Northern C Divisional Tournament held at Gt Falls Central. They play CJI tonight at 7:00pm in the undefeated semifinal. The football team will host Wibaux in an 8-man quarterfinal matchup on Saturday at 1:00pm in Belt. Best of luck and GO HUSKIES!!!

We are anticipating a large volume of traffic on Saturday (10/28) as we host both the 6C district Volleyball tournament and the first round of Football playoffs. There will be overflow parking available in he hayfield north of the school. The street behind the school will be blocked off for players and coaches only and to keep a lane open for emergency vehicles, so please drive around using Bowling Alley St. to access the overflow parking.

Congratulations to Coach Bodner and our XC runners on a successful season. They wrapped up their year at the State meet this past weekend in Kalispell. Several runners PR'd along with Clayton Jassen finishing 8th overall with a time of 17:13.05. Vannie Urick and Gracie Watson finished in the Top 15 helping the girls' team finish in 4th place. Congratulations and great job Huskies!

Belt School will host the District 6C Volleyball tournament Thursday-Saturday. The Lady Huskies first game is Thursday at approximately 12:00pm. The Huskies football team will host Park City for a 1st round game at 1 o'clock on Saturday. The Cascade County Sheriff's Department will be conducting training exercises at the Belt School on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am-5:00pm. The Wellness Center and gymnasiums will be available for use during the trainings.

Elementary Students & Parents, please come join us for "Math O Treat" on Monday October 30th. This family math night will be in the elementary school starting at 5:30 pm and costumes are welcome.

This weekend marks our last regular season home volleyball and football games and we would like to invite you to come celebrate our senior participants. We will recognize our football and cross country seniors on Friday at 6:35pm prior to the football game versus Chinook. Our senior volleyball players and cheerleaders will be recognized on Saturday at 7:00pm prior to the varsity volleyball game versus Fairfield. Thank you for your support and GO HUSKIES!!!

MS & HS (Grades 7-12) students and parents, there is an informational meeting about 2024 High School Clay Target League on Monday October 30th in the Health Room (across from the cafeteria) at 6:30 pm. If you are interested in learning more about the League or Shooting sports make plans to attend.

The Belt School will be selling various surplus items on October 18 (4:00pm-6:30pm) and October 19 (9:00am-12:00pm) behind the school near the shop/bus parking area. Some items included in the sale are interior and exterior 36" doors, aluminum irrigation pipe, tables, water fountains, a Rhino International 344 Diesel Tractor, street sweeper w/3 pt hitch, file cabinets, and miscellaneous workout equipment.
