Due to a cancellation with Hays, the MS and Varsity football teams will now be playing Broadus this Saturday (9/3). The games will be played at Lavina at 11:00 am (Middle School) and 1:00 pm (Varsity). Because the contest will be hosted at a neutral site, all passes will not be accepted for admission to the games.

A reminder that the Belt School will return to charging for meals for the 2022-2023 school year. For the past two years during the pandemic school meals have been free for everyone. This year breakfast will cost $1.25 for all students and adults, grades EK-6 lunch is $2.50, grades 6-12 lunches are $2.75, and adult lunches are $3.25. We encourage all families to fill out a free and reduced application. The eligibility window has greatly expanded and more families will qualify. The district's free and reduced rate is also factored into other funding and grant opportunities so please consider applying. Applications are in the school office. Please call the school or stop by the office if you have any questions.

The 2022-2023 back-to-school newsletter was mailed out last week and all box holders should have received a copy. Inadvertently, some copies of last year's newsletter were mixed in with the current newsletter. If you did not receive the current copy they are available at the school office. A couple of important dates to be aware of are Open House on August 16 at 5:30pm and the first day of school for students is August 23rd. You can also check the activity calendar on our website for important dates: https://www.beltschool.com/page/activity-calendar We are looking forward to seeing everyone, we hope you had a great summer!
