
Summer Readers....tomorrow is last Tuesday of summer reading camp! Bring a flashlight or headlamp, a blanket (to make a fort), and brush up on your tic-tac-toe skills! And please remember to bring your journals along :)


The Cascade County Back to School Blast will be held from noon to 6:00pm at the Great Falls Civic Center on Friday, August 12, 2022. There will be school supplies, haircuts & hygiene items, sports physicals, wellness checks, immunizations, food, fun & more....ALL FREE!
If you are a student in need of school supplies, particularly back-packs, you are encouraged to register for the event by July 15. To register call: 406-761-0310

Summer Reading Series for grades EK-5 starts tomorrow, Tuesday, June 7 from 9:30 - 11:30 am; camp instructions and activity start at 10:00 a.m.


Parents of incoming Kindergartners in Fall of 2022- Great Falls is hosting a Safety Town. Safety Town is a week-long, fun program consisting of a miniature town with child-sized houses, crosswalks, and streets. Activities throughout the week teach children safety through songs, guest presentations, and role-playing. The programs covers crossing the street safely, stranger safety, child abuse prevention, how to dial 911, gun safety, safety around dogs, safety on buses, fire safety, and internet safety. It also covers water safety, railroad safety, and playground safety. See the attached flyer for more information.


Today is the students last day of school for the year. Elementary students will have Field Day events starting at 9:00am, parents and community are welcome to come watch. Today is an early-release at 12:31pm. We hope everyone has a fun, safe summer break. Thank you for helping make this year a great one!

Congratulations go out to our track teams for a very successful weekend with both boys' and girls' teams winning Northern C Divisional titles. Good luck next week at the state track meet which will be held at Memorial Stadium in Gt Falls on May 27th and 28th.

Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy our 6th-12th grade music performances at the Pop Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the main gymnasium. Our music program has had a great year and this concert will consist of fun performances to cap off the school year. Hope to see you there!

Good luck to our Huskies at State C golf in Sidney. They will be competing May 16-18. Go Huskies!

Calling all Elementary Dads or that Special Someone - tomorrow morning (7:35-8:00 am) is Doughnuts for Dads at Belt School. Come by the Multi-Purpose Gym in the Elementary Wing before school to grab a doughnut and some coffee!


If you have child that is at least four (4) years old by September 10th, 2022 and are interested in enrolling in Early Kindergarten next fall, make plans to attend the Early Kindergarten Ice Cream Social on May 19th.


The MS Track meet scheduled for today, May 9, in Stanford has been canceled due to snow.

Good luck to all of our students traveling to various events. The HS track team is in Gt. Falls, HS golf is at Ft. Benton, MS track is at Harlowton today and Cascade tomorrow, and we also have many students competing in the State Music Festival today and tomorrow in Helena! Good luck Huskies!!

The MS track meet scheduled for Havre today has been canceled due to forecasted high winds. We were able to get into another meet, the MS track team will be in Harlowton today instead of Havre.

The Driver's Education 2022 Parent meeting will be held June 14 with classes anticipated to start for students on June 20. The cost per student is $250. This course is only available to in-district students this year. If you have questions please contact the school office.

School elections were May 3rd. Belt Public School had two candidates vying for one trustee position on the ballot.
The results of the school election are as follows:

-Mike Christensen 237 votes-
A big thank you to outgoing trustee Jon Hepfner for his many years of service on the Belt School Board.
